Once again the Taliban has shown why they are allmost universally despised. Yesterday they shot two teen aged girls in Pakistan. One of the girls, Malala Yousafzai, has been praised and received numerous awards for her courage in standing for human rights in a part of the world where the Taliban believes women have no rights. She is in critical condition after being operated on last night.

Lots of people in the world, including Americans look upon one or more demographic groups as sub-human. Some people hate you because you're black, or Jewish, or homosexual. Some hate women. Every bigot has its favorite scapegoat.
It's true the Taliban is not the only hate group in the world. That does not change the facts as reported in the article.
