Garbage in Garbage Out From Iranian Dictator

As slimy and circuitous as ever, seeming more like Joseph Goebbels than the leader of Iran,
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has again denied U.S. accusations that Iran seeks to develop nuclear weapons, and is supplying weapons and training to insurgents in Iraq. Ahmadinejad made his comments Monday during a controversial visit to Columbia University in New York. The Iranian Dictator also faced numerous questions about civil rights in Iran and his earlier suggestions that the Holocaust never happened.
Ahmadinejad faced stinging words before he even spoke, from the very man who had invited him.
"Mr. President, you exhibit all the signs of a petty, cruel dictator," said Columbia University Preident Lee Bollinger during the introduction.
Critics are still angry at Mr. Ahmadinejad's suggestion that the Holocaust never happened.
Through a translator Monday, he defended his calls for more research on the topic by suggesting a link between the decades-old Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the Holocaust. "But then why don't we encourage more research on an historical event that has become the root, the cause of many heavy catastrophies in the region in this time and age?" asked the Iranian president. "Why shouldn't there be more research about the root causes? That was my first question. And my second question -- well, given, this historical event, if it is a reality, we need to still question if the Palestinian people should still be paying for it or not. After all, it happened in Europe. The Palestinian people had no role to play in it."
Mr. Ahmadinejad denied Bush administration claims that Iran is training and equipping insurgents in Iraq.
He also again rejected accusations that Iran is enriching uranium, to develop nuclear weapons. "Repeated reports by the IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency] explicitly say that there is no indication that Iran has deviated from the peaceful path of its nuclear program. We're all aware that Iran's nuclear issue is a political issue. It's not a legal issue," said Mr. Ahmadinejad.
On one topic, Mr. Ahmadinejad drew laughter from the audience. "In Iran, we don't have homosexuals like in your country. (laughter) We don't have that in our country. (boos) "
He also deflected questions about reports of the oppression of women and executions of reporters in Iran, accusing the media of distorting information.
Unfortunately, we cannot report that he was assasinated.

Death to Amadinejead

Amadinejead of Iran speaks like Hitler.
On the one hand he threatens the world, then he steps forward to deny his own lies.
The Iranian government is directly involved in killing and wounding American soldiers in Iraq.
Ahmadinejad has tested the patience of the rest of the world for a very long time and now may be time to call his bluff or to destroy his Nuclear and Islamic Caliphate ambitions.
The price to stop Ahmadinejad's madness is going to be high, if it does happen.
Senior American intelligence and defence officials believe President Bush and his inner circle are taking steps to place America on the path to war with Iran.
Pentagon planners have developed a list of up to 2,000 bombing targets in Iran, amid growing fears among serving officers that diplomatic efforts to slow Iran's nuclear weapons program are doomed to fail.
The sooner Iran is disarmed the safer it will be for the rest of the world.
Where are the
Earl Krugels of yesteryear?
Why has no one even threatened to terminate this little Hitler?
Will we someday be asking this question after millions of innocents have died?

As soon as possible, by what ever means, kill Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and his mad Mullahs, destroy their nuclear program and take out Iran’s military command and control. That’s the only way to stop these Iranian Jihadists, our other choice is to wait until we lose tens of thousands and have to kill hundreds of thousands of Iranian citizens...

Jack Wohl, "A Mitzvah, Yeah."

Jack Wohl was my friend.
Born in Germany in 1920, he attended school in Berlin until the rise of the nazis, whereupon the family moved to Hamburg and he attended Jewish School by day and sabatoged the German military, with the Macaabis, a Jewish Resistance Organization, by night.
One of the family photos that Jack managed to salvage from the desecrations and destruction wrought by the hun anti-Jews shows him as an incredibly beautiful young child of 5 or 6, smiling as his mother held him.
On the sidewalk, in the photo, was spray painted a large black swatztika.
As I viewed the photo, which I often did, when visiting with Jack at the rehab center where I worked as a Med Tech, and he was a patient, I couldn't help but
feel, viscerally, the agony that was about to be visited upon these noble and decent souls, of which they were so obviously unaware when the photo was taken.
Jack grew to young manhood with his equally dark and handsome brother, being affluent they dressed stylishly, they looked healthy and happy, but as the years passed, in the photos, I could see the change in their demeanor, from carefree youths, to fighters and survivors of a state turned killer.
Jack's family, in Berlin, prior to the Holocaust, were prominent in society and highly respected.
Jack's father was a surgeon, credited with developing, at the time, revolutionary techniques for saving his patients lives.
I would often sit at his father's desk while we talked, history emanating intensely from the finely crafted walnut roll top antique.
Jack became a wanted criminal due to his anti-Nazi exploits, but with the help of bribes, was finally able to escape, on a ship, from Germany.
"I watched my father from the ship as he got smaller and smaller in the distance.
I knew I would never see him again.
The German's murdered him.
They murdered everyone who stayed.
I didn't know this for years of course, and when I landed in New york and disembarked, I kissed the ground and said, 'Thank G-d for America.'"
Jack lived with his uncle Max Wohl on the lower eastside of New York.
"One time, after I first came to America, Uncle Max walked out of the bathroom, going to the bedroom, naked.
His wife and married daughter happened to be in the hall when he walked through, and his wife, Ilsa, caught him in the bedroom and said, " You pig! Aren't you ashamed of yourself, being naked in front of your daughter?'
and he said, "she's married allready, she's already seen it.' "
Eventually, Jack Wohl became the first licensed optometrist in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jack didn't make a lot of money, however, as he spent most of his profits buying matierials to make glasses for the poor, and mainly, the local Navajo Indians.
Every night, for 50 years, Jack drove downtown and served meals, at the rescue mission, to the poor.
While Jack was with us at the rehab center, a Rabbi arrived, and Jack and I would go visit him and the other Jewish patients, most of whom were old and feeble.
I would say, "Jack let's go visiting, do a mitzvah."
And Jack would respond, in his charming way, offhandedly, "A mitzvah, yeah."
"one day, " Jack said, "I was at a restaruant with my wife, in Albuquerque, and a man came over to our table and said, Mr Wohl, I want to apologize for what the German's did to the Jews, I ask your forgiveness.
I told him I'd forgiven the Germans a long time ago.
He was the first, and only German, that ever did that."
"Jack, " I asked, "How could you forgive the Germans, after what they did?"
"Hate destroys you, Michael, you have to let it go." He said.
"You can't forget, but you can forgive."
Once I knocked on the door of Jack's room, "Come in", he said and in the gloom
he was watching tv, the history channel, it was a documentary about the Nazi crimes.
This was the only time he ever seemed distant.

"I was there." he said.
"I can tell when they are showing something as it happened, or not.
I was there.
I saw hitler.
My father operated on Goebbels. One night I was riding my bicycle and a group of brownshirts knocked me off the bike and beat me.
When my father was smuggling me out of Germany, storm troopers boarded our train
and took my father off.
He was gone for two hours.
When he came back his face was white.
I had never seen my father like this.
I noticed his gold watch was missing.
He'd bribed the stormtroopers to let us go."

Jack repayed the crimes of the holocaust by living a life of kindness and service to human beings.
To the least of mankind he offered his hand and his heart.
As I stood there watching Jack's sadness, his face reflected in the glow of the television replaying the crimes of the German nation, I put my hand on his shoulder and squeezed gently, "Hey Jack, let's go visit the Rabbi, do a mitzvah."
He smiled, "Yeah, a mitzvah."
Jack had character and charm.
He spoke very little about the Holocaust, but I pieced together his role from talks with his wife, his daughter and other members of his family and circle of friends.
He'd long since retired when I met him, but he kept a pouch of tools, tiny little screwdivers and pliers, so he could do minor, on the spot repairs of people's spectacles.
The Navajos, who loved him, called him "our Jewish Chief", and he had the plaque on his wall attesting to this.
He empathized with their struggles and treatment at the hands of the Europeans who were populating the area of New Mexico that was the Navajos homeland.
Jack Wohl, of Blessed Memory, has passed away.
He will always be in my hearts core, in my heart of hearts, forever.
He was a mensch.

Dozens of forces loyal to the Palestinian Authority Chief, in collaboration with Israeli troops, have raided the village of Huwwara.
Forces loyal to Mahmud Abbas raided the village located south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus on Friday night in an attempt to control the security situation there.

Jewish network plans first online broadcast of Yom Kippur service

For the first time, Jews worldwide can celebrate Yom Kippur by streaming a Los Angeles service Friday via the Internet.
At 4:45 p.m. PDT, JewishTVNetwork.com will broadcast the Kol Nidre service from the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, the oldest synagogue in L.A.

"We're very excited," said Jay Sanderson, chief executive officer of JTN Productions of Sherman Oaks, owner of the online network. "Jews and non-Jews around the world will be able to hear and see the service - someone who's in a nursing home, someone who is in Topeka, Kans., who has no synagogue near them."
The 80-minute service will be available to anyone with broadband Internet access at www.jewishtvnetwork.com/. Many conservative and orthodox synagogues prohibit cameras during services in accordance with interpretations of Jewish law. But the reform Wilshire Boulevard Temple has consented to permit video cameras.
JTN Productions, a non-profit production company founded 26 years ago as the Jewish Television Network, launched its broadband Web channel last April to expand on the richness of Jewish traditions. It also hoped to stir dialogue between Jews and non-Jews by publishing an America's Top 50 Rabbi List.
Next year, the network hopes to stream Kol Nidre services from five synagogues from Paris to Jerusalem. "My goal in life is to make Jewish as big as possible and

as public as possible," said Sanderson, of Encino. "I want to push the envelope."

Israeli Raid Buys Time

There are reports from various sources today that Syria has been receiving nuclear equipment from North Korea.
The Israeli Air Force raid on the Syrian Agricultural Research building (the details of which are only now beginning to be reported) was a major blow to the hopes of the alliance between Syria and North Korea to create a new threat to both the life of Israel and peace in the world. But while we can cheer the bravery and skill of the Israeli pilots, commandos and planners who've apparently carried off this coup -- with the same daring and precision that characterized past triumphs, such as the 1981 destruction of Iraq's Osirak nuclear facility -- this should not distract us from the clear implications of a frightening reality.
Americans, who are so tired of the war in Iraq that they deplore the projection of force against Iran more than they fear Tehran's nuclear threats, must think about the implications of either Syria or Iran gaining such weaponry. The Israeli dash into Syria may have gained us all a little time, but the idea that this nightmare has been put to rest and that further action isn't needed is simply a delusion.

Wikipedia no-nothings

Recently I posted an opinion, bolstered by facts, about Islam.
Some left wing kooks on "wikipedia" were discussing it in their usual limp-wristed, all creeds and behaviours are equal, way that they do.
I had to laugh, but it's numbskulls like those on wikipedia that truly threaten our way of life.
They probably are blissfully unaware about the nature of Islam. They don't know that Over half of all convicted rapists in Denmark are Muslims even though Muslim immigrants constitute hardly five percent of the Danish population.
The situation is similar in other Scandinavian countries, too. France ,Britain, the Netherlands, and practically all European countries with large Muslim populations suffer at the hands of a small minority .
A significant portion of the immigrants has not only failed ,but consciously refused to assimilate to the western culture.
Some of them are even plotting its destruction, calling for jihad against the alleged transgressors against Islam.
Many more are aching to impose Sharia on their new home countries.Considering these facts, the rapid growth of the European Muslim population might alarm those natives who value their freedoms and stable societies. The number of Muslims residing in Europe doubled from eight to sixteen million over the last decade, and, according to a UN estimate, it is increasing at the rate of one million per year . Simple demographical calculations show that societies like France, Sweden and the Netherlands could undergo a profound Islamization in just two generations because of immigration and Muslims' exceptionally high birth-rates . Currently, Malmö, which is the third largest city in Sweden, is 20% Muslim. In Rotterdam, the Muslim percentage is estimated to be as high as 45%.
Why do you rarely learn about these concerns in the mainstream media? Why is it that most voices we hear urge us only to embrace multiculturalism without reservations? Why can't people be critical of other cultures without being labeled as right-wing bigots and racists?

Lacking answers to these questions, it might be hard to understand why a prestigious Canadian law school almost expelled a student who had written a somewhat impatient rebuttal to an appraisal of Sharia in a student magazine . Equally elusive would be the explanation for the statement given by a Norwegian professor regarding the rape statistics: instead of urging local Muslims to realize that females are not to blame for rapes - sometimes an odd notion to a Muslim man according to the professor - he advised women to take "their share of responsibility for these rapes." "Norwegian women must realize that we live in a multicultural society and adapt themselves to it," he lectured. The ladies ought to compromise on their freedom to dress attractively in the professor's view. Finnish politician Ben Zyskowicz may also have been bewildered about how easily one earns the label of a xenophobe in Finland. Expressing concern about Finland's refugee situation in June, 2002, Zyskowicz proposed that genuine refugees should be more carefully separated from the opportunists who only seek to exploit Finnish social security. Minister Eva Biaudet quickly condemned her colleague's statement: if not downright racist, it was "hostile" and "dangerously close" to the European far-right population.
Those fopish morons at wikipedia need to start reading something other than the leftist manifestos they are so besotted with.

IDF Soldier Murdered, Terrorist Killed

An Israeli soldier and one Palestinian terrorist have been killed early Tuesday during intense fire exchange in a refugee camp in the West Bank.
According to a spokeswoman of the Israeli military, the trooper was badly injured during clashes with terrorists in the Ein Beit Elma refugee camp. He received medical treatment immediately after the shootout, but unfortunately, his life couldn’t be saved.
Terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and Islamic Jihad said they are responsible for the soldier’s murder, claiming to have detonated an explosive device in the settlement.
In the fire exchange an 18-year-old PFLP thug was shot and killed by Israeli forces. Local sources said he tried to get past Israeli security troops and was shot by the troopers.
Israeli ground troops, including armored vehicles swept the camp located in the west of the northern city of Nablus. Military officials said the soldiers were engaged in a “search and arrest” operation for Palestinian terror squads present on a list elaborated by the Jerusalem government.
A statement released by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said troops were deployed to the West Bank Tuesday morning “to locate and arrest terrorists who were planning to infiltrate into Israel and execute terrorist attacks.” Reportedly, several weapons, ammunition and grenades were seized during the raid.
Tuesday’s incidents come just a few hours before United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was due to arrive in the Middle East on a three-day visit. Rice will meet with Israeli and Palestinian leaders.
This is her second trip to the region since Hamas ousted Fatah security forces in mid-June and took control over Gaza. Rice’s visit is aimed at preparing the framework for a regional peace summit due to take place in November.
Since the conference was announced in July by US President George W Bush, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert met regularly in order to work out divergences standing in the way of a peace agreement.

About the Arabs

There are very few things that would make me happier than to see the Arabians as a happy, peaceful, joyous people, enjoying the gifts of life and family and everything else.
Because if they were happy and joyous and peaceful everyone would be better off.
The problem is getting through to Arabians who are nice even though they have been taught from infancy to hate.
They still believe the majority of the arabian and leftist propaganda, even if, one hopes, they are not as violent as their brethren.

I've never seen anyone with the level of indoctrination that most Arabians have, be swayed by facts and logic.
But, If we can show arabians the truth, maybe we can get them to join the rest of the human race.

If not, at least we can help those who've not made up their minds yet to be aware that the level of intentional atrocities, such as beheading innocent people, torturing and intentionally murdering children, encouraging children to blow themselves up while killing and maiming as many innocent bystanders as possible and the list goes on, that this behaviour is not noble, it's not moral,
it's criminal behaviour.
I don't hate arabians, but logic indicates that the type of activities we've been discussing, i.e., sawing the heads off of innocent civilians, turning children into human bombs , etc. require suppression.
Those we call "jihadists", commit crimes of great brutality, but we often see crowds of people in arabia cheering their heinous deeds.

So I believe there are Arabs that don’t hate Jews.
But the Arabs in power, all of them, and the vast majority of Arabians, according to most estimates do hate Jews.
Their motives are expressed as sometimes not even thinly veiled, sentiments consistent with deep, violent hatred of the Jewish people.
The Israeli gov't is a human institution, therefore Israelis make mistakes, they are no doubt in the wrong in some way at a given time, the question before us, however, is are the brutal actions of the popular, in the Arab world, criminal gangs throughout Arabia and the world, and whether it is ever justifiable to perform the atrocities they routinely perform.
The photograph of an Arabian identifying himself at a checkpoint,
next to a photograph of children blown to bits, shows what many Arabians believe is a quid pro quo,
i.e.., Arabians humiliated at checkpoints have the right to blow up a disco full of children.
It’s pretty well known, that if Palestinian “militants’ had practiced civil disobedience
Instead of murder as a redress for their grievances there would now be an Arab Palestine
State.
By now, if it had been a peaceful neighbor, it would be a state blessed by peace, prosperity, and new-found ties with it’s democratic neighbor.
It would probably be the most successful state in Arabia, because of it’s proximity to and interactions with Israel.
To paraphrase Golda Meier “The Arabs will only find peace when they learn to love their children more than they hate the Jews.”

Maddona Meets with Peres in Israel

Madonna has taken the Jewish name "Esther" and is practicing Kabbalah.
Kabbalah is an aspect of Jewish mysticism. It consists of a large body of speculation on the nature of divinity, the creation, the origin and fate of the soul, and the role of human beings. It consists also of meditative, devotional, mystical and magical practices which were taught only to a select few and for this reason Kabbalah is regarded as an esoteric offshoot of Judaism. Some aspects of Kabbalah have been studied and used by non-Jews for several hundred years, so Madonna is not alone.
Madonna led a delegation to a Kabbala conference in Tel Aviv on Friday to celebrate Rosh Hashana. The diva was seen singing Jewish songs with the crowd of hundreds at the David Intercontinental Hotel, where the conference on Jewish mysticism was held. At one point, she pressed another participant, apparently a friend, up to the front where he danced excitedly, making her and the crowd giggle and clap enthusiastically.
On Saturday night, Madonna and her film director husband, Guy Ritchie, traveled to Jerusalem and met with President Shimon Peres for nearly two hours at Beit Hanassi.
According to the president's spokeswoman, Peres and Madonna toasted the Jewish New Year together, and presented each other with gifts of holy books - Madonna received a copy of the Hebrew Bible, and the singer gave the president a copy of the Zohar, the mystical text that serves as the basis of Kabbala.

Why is Islam Such A Menace?

Although Islam is probably the farthest of all the major religions from the truth, it offers a justification for those who already have homicidal impulses to justify their actions.
Their prophet, Mohahmed, was a pedophile and ruthless murderer.
The Koran, though sprinkled with enough phraseology from more credible sources, such as the Bible, to claim some credibility in debate, is basically a call to arms against those who believe in freedom and morality.
We can't outlaw it here in America, because unlike Muslims, we believe in freedom of speech.
We can however, show our disapproval, and take harsh actions against Muslims who call for their followers to commit crimes.
We can, we should, and we will.

Maddona Visits Israel

I think it's great, Maddona supporting Israel the way she has done.
In the face of much of the world's anti-Israeli sentiment, Maddona's courage and love for Israel is most admirable and welcome.

Pop celebrity Madonna met Israeli President Shimon Peres Saturday during a visit to Israel to attend a conference on Jewish mysticism.
Madonna was seen entering the home of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate in Jerusalem after the end of the Jewish New Year at sunset Saturday. Peres gave Madonna a copy of the Old Testament, the Jewish Bible, in the meeting that she requested, Israeli TV reported. The meeting was closed to the press.
On Friday, Madonna was filmed singing Jewish songs and dancing at a conference on Jewish mysticism, or Kabbalah, with a crowd of hundreds at a Tel Aviv hotel. It was not clear how long the music star would stay in Israel.
Madonna arrived in Israel Wednesday night on a private visit to the Holy Land. Madonna's interest in Kabbalah in recent years, despite her background as a Roman Catholic, has been criticized by Orthodox Jews who say it is an abomination.
The singer has taken the Hebrew name Esther, and has been seen wearing a red thread on her wrist in a Jewish tradition to ward off the evil eye. During her visit she plans to visit sites sacred to Kabbalists

Israel Warns Terrorists

This terror must stop.
Experience has shown that Arabs respect only one thing...force.

ZIKIM, Israel (AFP) — Israel warned Gaza militants on Tuesday after a rocket smashed into an army base, wounding dozens of sleeping conscripts and piling pressure on the government to hit the Hamas-run area.
At least 69 soldiers sleeping in tents were wounded when the homemade rocket crashed in the dead of night into Zikim base in southern Israel not far from the border with Gaza, an army spokesman and medics said.
It was the bloodiest Palestinian rocket strike from Gaza in months and came ahead of the start of the Jewish New Year, increasing the pressure on Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's cabinet to take action to stop such fire.
The premier met senior ministers and military chiefs to decide on a response to the attack which Hamas -- a group sworn to Israel's destruction -- called "legitimate resistance."
"Those who carry out these types of attacks, as well as those who support them, should know that they are not safe," Israeli government spokeswoman Miri Eisin told AFP.
No formal announcement was made after the meeting, but Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told reporters that "we have not only military tools that we can use in the face of what's happening in Gaza."
This appeared to be an allusion to earlier calls by ministers for Israel to cut electricity, fuel and water supplies into the territory, measures that Olmert has so far rejected.
Many of the wounded troops were conscripts due to complete their basic training on Tuesday. Most of them received only light injuries, although the army said one was wounded critically and four seriously.
The military wing of the radical Islamic Jihad -- which is behind most rocket firings into Israel -- claimed the attack and dubbed it "The Dawn of Victory."

Petraeus Reports to Congress

There weren't any real suprises in today's testimony.
A sober assessment of the situation highlighted gains made since the surge began.
Petraeus said troop levels could return to pre-"surge" levels by next summer, allowing the withdrawal of some 30,000 combat forces, beginning with a Marine contingent later this month. That would leave roughly 130,000 troops still in Iraq. He also recommended further troop cuts eventually, though he didn't specify how deep those cuts might be.
Petraeus used a phalanx of charts and graphs to hammer his case home: Despite tactical setbacks, violence is down throughout Iraq, especially in key regions of the country such as Baghdad and Anbar province — where, he said, Iraqis are turning against terrorists. But he added that "civilian deaths remain at an unacceptable level."
"The security situation in Iraq is improving," Petraeus said, but "innumerable challenges lie ahead."
The general also said that the Iraqi military is assuming more responsibility for the country's security.
"I believe that we will be able to reduce our forces to the pre-surge level of brigade combat teams by next summer without jeopardizing the security gains that we have fought so hard to achieve," said Petraeus, who acknowledged that the situation in the country remains "complex, difficult and sometimes downright frustrating."

Bin Laden..Friend of the Jews?

As bits and pieces of the most recent Bin Laden exposition come out this is probably the most suprising.
Bin Laden attempts to portray himself and Islam as friends of the Jews.
Curiouser and curiouser.
Perhaps he is impressed with Adam Yahiye Gadahn an American-born English-language spokesman for the al-Qaeda organization. From 2004 to 2006 he appeared in a number of videos produced by the organization as "Azzam the American" ('Azzām al-Amrīki, عزام الأمريكي). In 2004, he was added to the FBI Seeking Information - War on Terrorism list.[1] On October 11, 2006 he was removed from that list, and placed on the Bureau of Diplomatic Security Rewards for Justice list of wanted terrorists.[2] On the same day, Gadahn was indicted in the Southern Division of the United States District Court for the Central District of California by a federal grand jury for treason. He is the first American charged with treason since 1952.[3]
He is currently believed to be in Pakistan and is being actively sought by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security.

This idea, while noteworthy, appears likely to fail since most Muslims consider Jews to be their main enemy.

DEBKAfile: Bin Laden uses Nazi Holocaust to slam Western culture

September 8, 2007, 4:34 PM (GMT+02:00)

In his first videotaped speech in three years, Osama bin Laden on Sept 7 addresses the Holocaust at length for the first time, branding “the Holocaust of the Jews as “your [American] culture, not our culture.” He says: “In fact, burning living beings is forbidden in our religion (sic!), even if they be small like the ant, so what of man!” [And what of New York?]
In another cynical distortion of the facts, al Qaeda’s leader praises on high the Muslim role in the Holocaust period.
“The holocaust of the Jews was carried out by your brethren in the middle of Europe. Had it been closer to our countries, most of the Jews would have been saved by taking refuge with us,” he said.
He expands further on his ideal of the Jews’ status in Muslim lands: “And my proof for that is in what your brothers, the Spanish, did when they set up the horrible courts of the Inquisition to try Muslims and Jews, when the Jews only found safe shelter by taking refuge in our countries.”
In fact, for thousands of years, the Jews of most Muslim countries were tolerated at best as second-class citizens who lived under the protection of sovereign.
As further proof of his contention, bin Laden declares: “…that is why the Jewish community in Morocco today is one of the largest communities in the world. They are alive with us and we have not incinerated them.”
Another fact: Only a few thousand Jews remain in Morocco from a vibrant community of 265,000 prior to 1948. In that year, entire Jewish communities were dispossessed and thrown out of Morocco and most other Arab Muslim countries. They found refuge in the fledgling State of Israel. And in 2003, he sent his suicide bombers to attack… Casablanca’s Jewish Quarter.
Al Qaeda’s leader opens his 30-minute tape marking the sixth anniversary of Sept. 11, with: “Praise to Allah” and his “law of retaliation” – “an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth and the killer is killed.” He says the US is vulnerable despite its economic strength and military might. Bin Laden urges Americans to convert to Islam to end the Iraq war.

Barack Osama..oops I mean , Bin Laden

By now most of us have seen the new YouTube offering by Bin Laden.
I only wish I Could get ahold of the dope he's doing.
I'm kidding.
I'm already paranoid.

But seriously, aside from murdering innocent women and children, what has this guy got going for himself?
It's good that he drops in once in a while.
Maybe it will help find him.
And maybe it will reinvigorate the war on terror.
It couldn't hurt.
Osama bin Laden said in a new video marking the sixth anniversary of al Qaeda's September 11 attacks the United States was vulnerable despite its military and economic power, but he made no specific threats.

In his first video appearance for almost three years, the al Qaeda leader said U.S. President George W. Bush was repeating the mistakes of the former Soviet Union by refusing to acknowledge losses in Iraq.

In a sign that the almost 30-minute tape, acquired by Reuters Television from a web trawler in Europe, was made recently, bin Laden mentions new French President Nicolas Sarkozy and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Its authenticity could not immediately be verified, although an excerpt seen by Reuters matched a still photograph carried by an al Qaeda-linked Web site which advertised the tape in advance.

"Despite America being the greatest economic power and possessing the most powerful and modern military arsenal, and despite it spending on this war and its army more than the entire world spends on its armies, and being the major state influencing the world's policies ... 19 young men were able ... to change the direction of its compass," bin Laden said in the tape.

"The subject of the mujahideen has become an inseparable part of the speech of your leader and the effects and signs are not hidden. Since the 11th, many of America's policies have come under the influence of the mujahideen."

The video shows bin Laden sitting at a table dressed in white and cream robes and wearing white headgear. Beneath him, a banner on the screen reads in English: "A message from Sheikh Osama bin Laden to the American people."

Bin Laden appears tired and sallow, though his beard is much shorter and darker than in his last appearance, when it was streaked with grey.

White House spokesman Tony Fratto said the tape demonstrated that "terrorists are out there and they are actively trying to kill Americans and threaten our interests."

The Mainstream Won't Run it...

But we will.
Here's the comic that "offended the Muslims".

Worried they couldn't expect much interest in the two women's quarterfinals coming Wednesday -- 2004 champion Svetlana Kuznetsova against 18-year-old Agnes Szavay of Hungary, and No. 6 Anna Chakvetadze against No. 18 Shahar Peer -- U.S. Open officials changed things up. With both players' approval, they shifted the quarterfinal between six-time major champion Venus Williams and No. 3 Jelena Jankovic from Tuesday to Wednesday night!

I personally would rather watch Shahar on her worst day than Williams on her best.

Sunday, September 2, 2007

Sometimes great defense beats a great offense.
5701 miles from New York City, at 2 a.m. local time in the capital city of Jerusalem, a proud nation watched one of their own reach a significant milestone, as Peer became the first player from Israel to advance to the Round of 16 of the US Open.

Making her debut under the bright lights of Arthur Ashe Stadium, the 18th-seeded Peer withstood the challenge of Czech star Nicole Vaidisova, winning a marathon three-set classic, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(5).

An evenly-matched contest featuring two of tennis’s rising young stars marked the first evening women’s match in six days to go three sets.

A back and forth contest that lasted 2 hours and 32 minutes, Vaidisova struck 39 winners past Peer, but was ultimately undone by 56 unforced errors, including an errant stroke into the net on match point.

Peer began playing tennis as a six-year-old growing up in Macabim and began her Israeli Army military training in November 2005.

With countrywoman Tzipora Obziller, Peer is one of two Israeli women ranked in the Top 100, and the only remaining in the draw.

Three players from Israel are entered in the 2007 US Open main singles draw – Peer, 97th ranked Obziller, and 118th-ranked men’s player Dudi Sela.

Jonathan Erlich, Harel Levy, and Andy Ram are competing in the men’s doubles draw, while countryman Noam Okun was a men’s singles qualifier.

Working on a career-best result at the US Open – Peer reached the fourth round in 2006 and the third round in 2005 – the 20-year-old will meet No. 30 seed Agnieskza Radwanska with a berth in the quarterfinals at stake.

Radwanksa, an 18-year-old from Krakow, Poland, stunned defending champion Maria Sharapova earlier in the day, breaking the bottom half of the women’s draw wide open.

The winner of Peer-Radwanksa will play either sixth seed Anna Chakvetadze or 43rd-ranked Tamira Paszek in the quarterfinals.
